What are the riads ?

 a riad is traditional type of lodging  with an interior garden , the terme  riad stands for the Arabian term for garden : ryad  which is related to the ancient Volubilis ( a Roman city ).

 In the middle of authentique traditional riads there are often a fountain . The walls of the riads are painted with Tadelakt ( which is a good looking traditional painting).

Since Morocco’s airways provides affordable airlines flights coming from all over the World,the number of arrivals has increased. In fact, when we talked to moroccan tourists destinations owners : they only have high-season price listed in their establishments, they claimed that it's because it is always high season in Marrakech.

How to choose a riad in Morocco ?

Be carefull using review websites such us Tripadvisor, booking etc... Why ? very simple, there's a lot of artificial reviews . So , in order to be sure if those reviews are authentique , just check out the profile of each reviewer :

1. If you have only 1 REVIEW : Stay away from his review ! a Traveller would leave more than one comment or a review. This Review is not authentique and should be avoided.
